If you’re looking to elope with your significant other, Ireland has some of the most stunning locations on the planet. I’m talking rugged coastlines, jaw-dropping cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and historic stone churches that will leave you feeling like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale.

Picture this – you and your love, standing hand in hand, with the Atlantic Ocean stretching out before you, the waves crashing against the rocky shore. Or how about exchanging your vows in the shadow of an ancient castle, with centuries of history and romance woven into its very stones?

Ireland is a land of rugged beauty and mystical charm, and if you’re looking for a place to elope that will take your breath away, then look no further.

Cliffs of Moher

This is probably the most notable, and rightfully so!

If you don’t want too far of a drive, I would recommend staying in Doolin, Co. Clare, Ireland. There are some amazing restaurants and pubs in the town. If you want to be out a little farther, I recommend Fanore, Co. Clare. It’s a small quaint beach town, right on Wild Atlantic Way, with little going on. It’s beautiful!

Moher Tower at Hag’s Head

If you want the Cliffs of Moher in its entirety, this is the spot. It also has the opportunity to have significantly fewer people, depending on the time of year.

Annascual Lake

This is one of my favorite spots in Ireland for photos, and it would be so peaceful for an elopement. This is a secluded little lake near Dingle. It is absolutely beautiful. You can elope right on the water or you can hike up to the viewpoint for stunning scenery. I would recommend staying in Dingle or in the surrounding area.
