You want wedding photos that feel like they were pulled from your favorite vintage album, but with a story that’s completely your own. Film slows things down in the best way. Every frame is intentional. Every click of the shutter is a moment truly lived. And when it all comes together, your wedding gallery will feel like something you want to hold on to forever, not just scroll through.

Why film photography?

Film has a soul.

It’s warm, rich, and imperfect in all the best ways.

Each roll holds the natural textures, light leaks, and vibrant tones that make every photo feel alive and personal. Film photography creates heirloom images that transcend trends and stand the test of time. These aren’t just photos—they’re keepsakes you’ll treasure forever.

My Film Approach

When I capture your wedding or elopement on film, I’m not just taking pictures—I’m telling your story, one frame at a time. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, natural, and seen, so the images reflect exactly who you are. Whether it’s an elopement in the rugged beauty of the Wichita Mountains, a romantic ceremony on the Cliffs of Moher, or an intimate wedding in Arkansas’s serene countryside, I approach each session with care and intention.

For me, film photography isn’t about perfection—it’s about authenticity. I don’t direct every pose or force moments. Instead, I let the day unfold naturally, capturing the real, raw, and beautiful moments that make your story uniquely yours.

FAQS

Q: How many photos can we expect back per roll?

A: I guarantee 20 photos per roll due to the fickle nature of film!

Q: Will I sign a contract with you if I have one with my digital photographer?

A: Yes! A contract specifically for film photography will be sent to you from me!
This is protection for both of us.

Q: What is the turnaround time for getting film images back?

A: I have a handful of film labs that I send photos to for processing. Their times range from 3 weeks to 8 weeks during the busy season. I will never sacrifice quality for a shorter time frame, so if you would like them back quicker, let me know so I can account for that when selecting a film lab! I will always give you an estimated turnaround time the week of based on the film lab I plan to use!

Q: What is a half-frame camera and do we get to keep it after the wedding?

A half-frame camera essentially doubles the number of exposures on one roll of film but can lower the quality of the image (think a little more grainy). Because it is an actual camera and not a disposable, I take the camera with me when I leave. If you love the idea and want one of your own, I can send you the link to where to buy your own!

Q: What if our wedding is outside of Oklahoma?

A: I have a standard travel fee based on the different parts of the country and will send you that pricing based on the location of your wedding!

Q: What is the difference between premium and standard film?

The difference is the quality! The higher-quality film reacts faster and produces better photos. These rolls typically do better in lower-lighting situations as well. However, the standard film still produces great photos!

Why Film is Perfect for Your Day

This is made for couples who crave something a little more meaningful. It’s for those who want their day to feel intentional, artful, and full of emotion. You’re drawn to the texture, the grain, the perfectly imperfect beauty that film brings—and you care more about storytelling than posed perfection. If you value timeless imagery that feels lived-in and real, and you’re ready to trust the process and lean into the moment, film might just be everything you didn’t know you needed.

This is for couples who care less about having thousands of images, and more about the ones that mean something.
